Welcome to CEC Fort Collins West Middle School!

Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins West MS (CECFCW) opened its doors in 2019 as a tuition-free, open enrollment public charter middle school. We are a small, inclusive, individualized Middle School that focuses on preparing students for the accelerated and rigorous curriculum of CECFC High School. We serve students for various backgrounds and develop each individual using a growth mindset. The goal of CECFC West MS is to introduce rigorous curriculum through a supportive environment. In our Elevate classes we teach executive functioning skills alongside our core content classes. What makes us different from other schools is our ability to individualize our attention and teaching to the needs of each students. Our focus is on academic success and emotional wellbeing. We teach social emotional programming and have a classroom dedicated to the emotional wellbeing of our students. Our Wolf Den is a safe place for students to access to decompress, re-regulate emotions and focus on emotional wellness. We are a Kindness Certified School so our focus is that everyone is friends with everyone. Students who have struggled in the past with making connections with peers find our culture to be welcoming and inviting. Our students support one another academically and positively influence each other to be successful.
