Dan Hoffman

Head of School
Dan Hoffman grew up on the south side of Chicago before attending Occidental College in Los Angeles. Since graduating, Dan has lived and worked in many cities and countries around the globe. He has worked with high school students for over 13 years. Dan started his career leading students on wilderness adventures and service-learning trips in India and Ecuador. Eventually, he moved into classroom teaching, instructing classes across the Humanities from Entrepreneurship to AP US History. For five years Dan lived and worked with high school students at a boarding school in Estes Park, Colorado where he was a House Parent and Social Studies and English teacher. Before accepting the Head of School position at CEC Parker, Dan was the High School Director at STEM School Highlands Ranch.
Dan is passionate about making learning relevant and meaningful for high school students while simultaneously preparing them for their next steps in life. Dan values the mission of Colorado Early Colleges and making sure every student, no matter who they are, is given the best chance to pursue their passions and their goals.
When Dan isn’t working he is busy teaching his five-year-old daughter and two-year-old son how to bike and swim.
