CEC DC North Student Wins First Place at DECA Invitational

Congratulations to Ron, DC North’s DECA Co-Vice President of Finance, for earning first place in his Customer Relations and Promotions events at the Smoky Hill High School Buffalo’s Invitational! His outstanding role-play performances and written test scores stood out among strong competition.

The invitational, a district-qualifying event hosted by the highly competitive Smoky Hill High School, marked CECDC North’s first-ever appearance at this competition.

A special shoutout goes to CTE Business Teacher and DECA Advisor Kira James for her incredible dedication to supporting DECA students and helping them succeed.

DECA is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Through competitive events, leadership development, and real-world experiences, DECA empowers students to excel in school, careers, and their communities.
