At Colorado Early Colleges Douglas County North (CECDCN), we believe in empowering students to achieve more than just a high school diploma, and the Class of 2025 has genuinely exemplified that mission.
This year, we are proud to celebrate 209 graduates, each of whom has taken full advantage of the opportunities available through our unique college-prep model. Their accomplishments extend far beyond the standard high school experience, setting a powerful example of what is possible when students are supported in pursuing both academic and career excellence.
A Credential for Every Student
One of the most remarkable achievements of this graduating class is that 100% of students are leaving with at least one credential—whether it’s a college degree, an industry certificate, or a combination of both. These credentials serve as critical stepping stones toward college, career, and lifelong success.
- 134 students (64%) earned an associate degree, a testament to their hard work and the college-level opportunities available at CEC DCN.
- 143 students (68%) earned one or more industry-recognized certificates, equipping them with in-demand skills in fields ranging from healthcare and technology to business and skilled trades.
Academic Excellence
In addition to earning degrees and certificates, our graduates have demonstrated outstanding academic performance:
- 142 students (68%) graduated with High Honors, having completed 60 or more college credits—the equivalent of two full years of college coursework.
- 81 students (39%) earned Summa Cum Laude honors for achieving a GPA of 3.8 or higher, showcasing a commitment to excellence at the highest level.
- 24 students (11%) earned Magna Cum Laude honors (GPA 3.65+), and 14 students (7%) earned Cum Laude honors (GPA 3.5+).
- An additional 25 students (12%) graduated With Honors for completing at least 30 college credits or a certificate, an incredible achievement in its own right.
A Launchpad for the Future
These accomplishments aren’t just numbers—they represent students who are prepared, confident, and ready to take the next step. Whether they’re heading to four-year universities, entering the workforce, joining the military, or continuing their education in specialized programs, CECDCN graduates are positioned for success.
We are immensely proud of the Class of 2025. Their dedication, resilience, and ambition are a reflection of the values we uphold as a school community. Congratulations, graduates—you’ve set the bar high, and we can’t wait to see where your journeys take you next!
