Thank you to Poudre Valley REA and Colorado Country Life magazine for featuring CEC Windsor’s AP Cybersecurity program in this month’s issue, highlighting CEC’s dedication to our student-centered, innovation-ready, and future-focused approach.

Jonathan Talan, CEC Windsor Technology Instructor, leads the AP Cybersecurity program. “It is always my goal as a teacher for students to learn. In this class, they learn how to think through their process and explain what they are doing and why — a lesson that is applicable anywhere that they can use in any career path.”

A $2,000 grant from Poudre Valley REA is making it possible for Talan to elevate the program by purchasing a variety of devices for Jonathan’s classroom that enable students to physically do what they have been learning about: cybersecurity, defense, and how to think like a hacker to protect systems from them.

Thank you to our CEC Windsor staff and students for their daily commitment to enhancing the student experience and creating real-world paths to success.
