CEC Online has been recognized as a Safe2Tell Gold Star School for its outstanding commitment to student safety and encouraging a culture of speaking up.

Safe2Tell emphasizes the importance of first talking to a trusted adult about safety concerns. Safe2Tell is option two or the backup plan for when a trusted adult might not be available. We also discuss breaking the code of silence and the idea of “See something, say something.”

Student Ambassadors Celebration of Impact

The Safe2Tell Celebration of Impact event culminates a year-long project by our 10 student ambassadors from across the state. This year’s theme, “Connection,” has driven their efforts to raise awareness about Safe2Tell and encourage their peers to report safety concerns. These 10th- to 12th-graders have dedicated themselves to promoting safety within their community.

The Safe2Tell team was thrilled to meet up with a former Student Ambassador, Bella, who expressed her appreciation for the program and the skills she gained from being an ambassador. We will begin accepting applications for the 25-26 Student Ambassador program this fall.
