Congratulations to CEC Parker student, Salem Goodman, who earned the Girl Scout Gold Award. Salem is one of only 40 recipients in the state to earn the Gold Award this year! The Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouts, and those who earn it set themselves apart from their peers through their perseverance and grit. Salem helped devise a curriculum with a heavy focus in media literacy and journalism that they shared with high school teachers across the city.
