Student Spotlight: CEC Parker HOSA Team Brings Home More Exciting Wins!

Congratulations to the CEC Parker HOSA team for more exciting wins at the state conference this year! The team took home the Gold Standards of Excellence Award and the NMDP Chapter Certificate of Merit.

Several of the individual members also placed and were recognized in individual categories. Alexis G. placed 2nd in Phlebotomy and was inducted in to the HOSA state officers and now will serve as the Vice President of Post-Secondary. Dhwanit S. placed 10th in CPR/First Aid and serves as HOSA District Representative. Addison G. placed 2nd in ATC Leadership. Kai P. placed 3rd in Clinical Laboratory Science. Kaitlyn B. placed 4th in her Research Poster. Madison E. placed 5th in Dental Science. Dhwanit S. placed 10th in CPR/First Aid and serves as HOSA District Representative. Nicole B. placed 10th in CPR/First Aid.

This summer, the team will be advancing on to the international competition in Houston, Texas. Congratulations and good luck to the entire HOSA team!

HOSA is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE. HOSA actively promotes career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA’s goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to affiliate and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.
