Colorado Early Colleges (CEC), a network of tuition-free public charter schools across Colorado, proudly announces the graduation of the Class of 2025, the largest graduating class in CEC’s history, with over 880 graduates. The Class of 2025 represents a huge milestone, with more students than ever graduating with their high school diploma, plus a college degree, college credits, or industry credentials.

The Class of 2025 represents the following milestones statewide:

  • 880+ graduates across CEC campuses statewide
  • 472 graduates received an associate’s degree
  • 1,182 certificates earned
  • One student is on track to earn a bachelor’s degree upon graduating from high school!

“The success of the Class of 2025 is a reflection of the unwavering dedication of our educators, the resilience of our students, and the transformative power of the early college model,” says Dr. Jill Gildea, CEO of Colorado Early Colleges. “At Colorado Early Colleges, we believe that every student deserves access to opportunity—and this graduating class exemplifies what is possible when we remove barriers and reimagine what high school can be.”

CEC offers career pathways and technical education in a variety of industries. These programs incorporate curriculum that aligns with industry standards and leads to an industry-recognized credential so that students may be prepared to enter the workforce after high school. Career Pathways in health science, engineering, construction, IT, aviation, multimedia, and more are available at CEC (and may vary by campus location).

CEC opened its doors in 2007 in Colorado Springs and has since grown to include middle and high school campuses in Fort Collins, Windsor, Douglas County, Aurora, Castle Rock, plus the CEC Online Campus serving all students in Colorado. CEC also offers college direct and homeschool enrichment options. Our schools partner with local community colleges and universities, offering students the chance to take college-level courses, both on and off campus.

Since its beginning, CEC has helped thousands of students save money on college tuition and graduate high school ahead of schedule in their college studies or career readiness.

“The Class of 2025 represents a significant milestone in the continued growth and impact of Colorado Early Colleges. As our largest graduating class to date, it reflects both the increasing demand for our innovative educational model and the strength of our commitment to academic excellence. This achievement underscores the confidence that families and communities across Colorado have placed in our mission to provide equitable access to college and career readiness for all students,” Gildea says.
