Please join us in welcoming Dr. Aaron Prestwich as our Executive Director of Educational Services (EDES).
Dr. Prestwich brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, student success, and organizational development. He has held senior roles at Aims Community College, Front Range Community College, and Chadron State College, leading strategic initiatives that foster inclusive, student-ready environments and strengthen K–12 and concurrent enrollment partnerships.
In his new role, Dr. Prestwich will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of academic and instructional systems across the CEC network. As a key member of the senior leadership team, he will guide curriculum and instructional coherence, data-informed decision making, and innovation in college and career pathway access. His work will also include overseeing state and federal education programs and grant initiatives aligned to CEC’s mission of ensuring every student—regardless of background or circumstance—has equitable access to earn college credit, credentials, and/or an associate degree during high school.
Rooted in a leadership philosophy of trust, innovation, and student empowerment, Dr. Prestwich is committed to supporting CEC’s vision as the nation’s leading early college model. He and his wife, Natalie—both proud alumni of the University of Northern Colorado—are the parents of three sons and look forward to joining the CEC community.
