Student Spotlight: Grace Evans. Grace smiles in front of a green forested background.

Meet CEC Parker senior, Grace Evans! She has been with Colorado Early Colleges since her 9th grade year and will be graduating this year with her high school diploma and associate of arts. Grace says that she has really felt at home at CEC since the beginning. She says that she is grateful for the inclusive and welcoming environment, as well as, her teachers and classmates that always support her.

Active in the CEC school community, Grace is President of National Honor Society, Vice President of Student Council, and participates in theater.

Off campus, she is very involved in Taekwondo. She is a 3rd degree black belt and is the head instructor at her dojo. She teaches every age level from 3-year-olds to adults. She credits Taekwondo with her strong self discipline which has been helpful in balancing school and extracurriculars. In addition to Taekwondo, she has been performing with Audience of One Youth Theater for 12 years and sings at her church on the weekends.

After graduation, she is headed to Colorado State University to study Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Leadership and Advocacy. With this degree, she hopes to work in the world of anti-trafficking which has long been her passion.

We are grateful for all that Grace has brought to our school and community and can’t wait to see what her future holds. Good luck, Grace!
