What is CEC?

Colorado Early Colleges (CEC) is the largest and most successful network of tuition-free public charter schools in the state, providing Colorado families with accessible, flexible, and individualized learning with a direct path to debt-free college degrees and other industry credentials through our middle school and high school campus locations, our online campus, our college direct locations, and our homeschool academy locations.

Since the doors of our Colorado Springs high school campus first opened in 2007, Colorado Early Colleges and our accredited college partners have been committed to creating a community of lifetime learners and building a culture throughout our network of schools that fosters academic, career, and personal success for every student, and do so at zero tuition-cost to them and their families.

From exceptional middle school educations, to college degrees and other industry credentials for our high school graduates, to unique learning opportunities for homeschool and non-public school students — the Colorado Early Colleges network of tuition-free public charter schools strive to remove barriers in delivering the highest levels of academic success possible to all K-12 students.

CEC is authorized by the Charter School Institute, a Colorado statewide charter school organization.
