About CEC

Welcome to Colorado Early Colleges!

We thank you for visiting our website to learn more about what our public charter school network offers Colorado students and their families.

Colorado Early Colleges (CEC) is the largest and most successful network of tuition-free public charter schools in the state. It provides Colorado families with accessible, flexible, and individualized learning and a direct path to debt-free college degrees and other industry credentials through its middle school and high school campus locations, online campus, college direct locations, and homeschool academy locations.

Since the doors of our Colorado Springs high school campus first opened in 2007, Colorado Early Colleges and our accredited college partners have been committed to creating a community of lifetime learners and building a culture throughout our network of schools that fosters academic, career, and personal success for every student, and do so at zero tuition-cost to them and their families.

From exceptional middle school educations to college degrees and other industry credentials for our high school graduates to unique learning opportunities for homeschool and non-public school students, the Colorado Early Colleges network of tuition-free public charter schools strives to remove barriers in delivering the highest levels of academic success possible to all K-12 students.

CEC is authorized by the Charter School Institute, a Colorado statewide charter school organization.

Mission Statement

Colorado Early Colleges’ mission is to prepare a diverse population of students for life by developing their mind, body and character through rigorous academic studies, and character development activities in cooperation with the community we serve.

All students, regardless of background or skill level, will have the opportunity to pursue a growth mindset that will allow them to achieve mastery and to demonstrate that they can succeed in school, in college, and in their chosen career.

No Exceptions. No Excuses.
