Recently, Mr. Ben Simonds and four students from CEC Inverness and CEC Parker presented at the Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented state conference.
Mr. Simonds and the student panel spoke about the benefits of the Gifted and Talented seminar course that he started two years in the CEC Douglas County campuses. They explained why it is important to allow gifted students to work together and support each other in an environment unique to them, and gave advice to other schools looking to start a similar program.
