Welcome to CEC Aurora High School!
Colorado Early Colleges Aurora (CECA) opened its doors in 2017 as a tuition-free, open enrollment public charter high school. CECA provides a personal and supportive atmosphere where students are able to pursue their unique and individual educational and career goals. As an early college high school, our academic program is designed to allow students who complete the curriculum to earn an associate degree, 60+ college credit hours, and/or career credential at no cost to families.
Colorado Early Colleges Aurora provides students in grades 9th-12th the opportunity to begin working on college-level courses as soon as they are college ready. We assess every student who enrolls and meet them where they are academically, no matter the level. Our students earn a combination of high school and college credits as they pursue a high school diploma and an associate degree or higher.
All at $0 Cost to Our Families!
CEC recognizes the responsibility we have been entrusted with to deliver a positive and lifelong impact on our students and their families, both academically and in life — and to deliver it with equity and fairness in the Colorado communities we have the privilege to serve. We have created a belief system to guide us in our endeavors in building strong campus communities that are filled with passion, driven by excellence, and dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion.

“My parents emigrated from Mexico before I was born to give their children more opportunities in life. I can never thank them or my community of friends, advisors, and teachers at CEC enough for giving me this great chance to follow my dream of becoming a pilot. I was an apprentice with CareerWise at Frontier Airlines, and choosing CEC made it possible to schedule my classes with my job.”
