Welcome to CEC Inverness High School!
Colorado Early Colleges Inverness (CECI) opened its doors in 2020 as a tuition-free, open enrollment public charter high school. CECI provides a personal and supportive atmosphere where students are able to pursue their unique and individual educational and career goals. As an early college high school, our academic program is designed to allow students who complete the curriculum to earn an associate degree, 60+ college credit hours, and/or career credential at no cost to families.
Colorado Early Colleges Inverness provides students in grades 9th-12th the opportunity to begin working on college-level courses as soon as they are college ready. We assess every student who enrolls and meet them where they are academically, no matter the level. Our students earn a combination of high school and college credits as they pursue a high school diploma and an associate degree or higher.
All at $0 Cost to Our Families!
CEC recognizes the responsibility we have been entrusted with to deliver a positive and lifelong impact on our students and their families, both academically and in life — and to deliver it with equity and fairness in the Colorado communities we have the privilege to serve. We have created a belief system to guide us in our endeavors in building strong campus communities that are filled with passion, driven by excellence, and dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion.

“The College Direct program at CEC has turned out to be a great fit for me. I was a little worried at first that college level courses were going to be really hard and that I wasn’t going to be able to get an A, but my advisors at CEC were confident I could do the work and they were right. I love the variety and the challenges of the courses I’m able to take and I’m really looking forward to graduating high school from CEC with a college degree in my hands!”
