Carolyn has previously worked in higher education with both Admissions and Advising at Arapahoe Community College, and Casper College in Casper, Wyoming. She has held numerous roles teaching and mentoring young adults through summer leadership camps and as an education assistant for students K-12 in the Douglas County School District. Carolyn received her B.S. in Travel and Tourism at Brigham Young University, and then went on to earn her M.A. in Student Affairs of Higher Education from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. With a love for learning and a passion for helping adolescents reach their academic potential she loves advising students at CECP. At home she continues to cheer her son and daughter on through high school and college life. Her favorite ways to recharge are biking, running, listening to podcasts, date nights with her husband, and relaxing on a beach with a fish taco in one hand and a paperback in the other.
