Maylin Brown, a sophomore at Colorado Early Colleges Parker, received first place for her poem “Today” in the Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum’s 55th annual Creative Writing Contest. Her work was judged with all High School entries.
This year nearly 300 creative writers from Littleton entered the contest. The Arapahoe Community College judges have expressed that they were impressed with the quality of writing.
