CEC in the News: CEC Inverness and Parker Teacher, Ben Simonds, Selected as Finalist for Charter School Educator of the Year

Ben Simonds, a CEC Inverness and Parker teacher / gifted & talented coordinator, was selected as a finalist for the Colorado League of Charter Schools’ 2023 Hall of Fame awards, which honor the state’s most talented educators and advocates.

Finalists are selected based on their excellence in education and advocacy within their school communities. Mr. Simonds was chosen as a finalist for the Charter School Educator of the Year category because of his out-of-the-box and engaging teaching style and his creation and implementation of the gifted & talented programming at CEC Inverness and Parker.

The winners will be announced at 5 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Colorado Charter Schools Annual Conference in Westminster.
