CEC in the News: Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

Congratulations to the Colorado Early Colleges Class of 2024!

This year, Colorado Early Colleges has over 800 high school graduates earning over 450 associate degrees, and over 850 other industry certifications. An additional student will earn a bachelor’s degree! Graduates come from across the state, attending CEC schools and Colorado community colleges in and near Aurora, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Castle Rock, Windsor, Inverness, Parker, and online.

97% of Colorado Early Colleges 2024 graduates will have received a college degree or other industry credential at no cost to their family!

With tuition and fees consistently rising at both in-state and out-of-state higher educational institutions, it becomes more critical for families to seek out educational opportunities to help minimize the burden of higher education costs as well as better prepare their students to participate in a rapidly changing workforce.

“Many of our families are able to save thousands of dollars on their students’ higher education, allowing more of our young adults to complete their 4-year degree after high school! Students are also able to earn certificates such as real estate, welding, and aviation, helping jump-start their future careers,” says Hannah Reese, the CEC Aurora head of school, about the opportunities Colorado Early Colleges is able to offer students and families.

As the notions of employment and career are continuously changing, Colorado Early Colleges strives to structure individually tailored educational plans that align with students’ talents and interests, alongside employment trends and economic development opportunities. Incorporating on-campus, on-site with local higher education partners and online learning opportunities, a Colorado Early Colleges education is flexible, prepares students for advanced education, and provides the confidence to enter high-demand, high-compensation careers.

Tom Smith, the CEC Online Campus head of school, has this to say about the importance of being able to reach more students and families across the state, “By embracing the flexibility of online education, families can create a secure and supportive environment tailored to their unique needs, empowering students to pursue their academic goals with confidence and success.”
